Family Of Ghosts

Chapter 82 - Theres Definitely A Ghost In This House

Chapter 82: There’s Definitely A Ghost In This House

The sound of rushing downstairs could be heard. Li Huazhen finally had the chance to be alone with Cen Pan.

She soaked the wet handkerchief in her hand again and covered Cen Pan’s face tightly. She pressed her hands under the towel.

One second, two seconds, three seconds.

The suffocating feeling of being unable to breathe made Cen Pan’s face turn red. The blood vessels in her body swelled up and veins popped out on her fair neck.

Looking at the change in Cen Pan’s body, Li Huazhen had a contorted smile on her face. She didn’t relax her grip at all and instead, increased her strength.

“Pan Pan, wake up…”

After knowing that something had happened to Cen Pan from Ye Xiao, Grandma hurried over. However, she didn’t expect to see this urgent scene as soon as she entered the room.

Her shrill call did not get any response from Cen Pan. Grandma anxiously floated to the bed and reached out to push Li Huazhen away, but her body passed through her.

Cen Pan’s face started to turn red and her body started to convulse. If she continued to suffocate, she would eventually die.

Grandma banged her body against Li Huazhen with all her might, but it passed through her body again and again. Seeing that the situation was getting more and more dire, Grandma’s eyes turned red and blood slowly welled up in them.

After she gathered all her strength, Grandma’s eyes had already turned blood-red and black gas was vaguely emitted from her body. She grabbed Li Huazhen’s hand that was pressing on Cen Pan’s nose and pushed hard.

Li Huazhen’s hand and the towel were instantly flung to the side, and she felt a burning pain on her wrist.

“Who is it? Who’s in the room?”

Her hand was inexplicably flung to the side and there were a few black finger marks. Li Huazhen got goosebumps and a cold aura appeared beside her.

There was definitely some ghost in this room!

Li Huazhen quickly came to this conclusion. She screamed and, with her eyes widened in horror, ran out of the door recklessly.

“The butler said that he didn’t call me. Did you hear wrongly…”

As soon as Li Huazhen left the house, she bumped into Zhao Ni and fell to the ground.

In a panic, she picked herself up from the ground. She couldn’t even stand properly and staggered downstairs.

Zhao Ni glanced at Cen Pan warily. Cen Pan’s chest was heaving up and down on the bed, and her face was purple. Zhao Ni was shocked and turned to chase after Li Huazhen. As she chased, she shouted, “Catch her for attempted murder…”

Both of them made a big commotion. The butler downstairs quickly stopped and arrested her.

Zhao Ni explained the situation briefly. The two of them tied Li Huazhen up and called the police.

While waiting for the police to come, the two of them went upstairs to check on Cen Pan’s condition. They saw that Cen Pan was indeed hypoxic, but she had not been suffocated for long and was not too injured. The two of them then felt relieved.

The police arrived shortly after and recorded Zhao Ni and the butler’s statements.

They checked Cen Pan’s condition and put the wet towel on the ground into an evidence bag before cuffing Li Huazhen and taking her away.

Li Huazhen was arrested again not long after she escaped. This time, there was also an attempted murder charge. It was obvious that she would either be sentenced to death or for lifetime.

Li Huazhen panicked and her eyes darted around. She shrank back and started screaming.

The police had no choice but to send Li Huazhen, who was pretending to be sick, to the hospital.

However, Li Huazhen didn’t even notice that a dark mist was lingering around her eyebrows and quietly eroding her body.
